Cucumber Salad

(Old family recipe eaten by our family for generations)


2 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced

1 tsp. dill weed seed

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 tbsp. vinegar

1/2 cup sour cream



Sprinkle the sliced cucumbers with salt and let stand for 5 minutes.  Combine the cucumbers and onion.  Stir together sour cream, dill weed and vinegar.  Toss until mixed.  Cover and chill stirring occasionally.
